Our Ranks and Awards
At Aegean Virtual, we offer 6 ranks for our pilots to progress through as well as an additional 4 awards which come after the pilot completes our ranking system. You can climb through our ranks by accumulating flight hours on your Aegean Virtual crew center account. At each rank, pilots will be able to fly new aircraft and longer routes. We will also have a route of the week system which all pilots will be able to benefit from.
Rank 1: Cadet
From 0 - 10 flight hours, you will be on the cadet rank. At this rank, you will be allowed to fly all of our Aegean routes and our Olympic Dash 8-Q400 routes.
Rank 2: Second Officer
When you have 10 - 25 flight hours, you will be a second officer at Aegean Virtual. You will be able to fly all of our Aegean routes, all of our Olympic Dash 8-Q400 routes, and all codeshare routes under 3 hours.
Rank 3: First Officer
At the first officer rank, which is from 25 - 50 flight hours, you will be able to fly all of our Aegean routes as well as our medium codeshare routes (< 6 hours).
Rank 4: Senior First Officer
From 50 to 100 flight hours, you will be at the senior first officer rank. This will allow you to fly all of our codeshare routes in our database.
Rank 5: Captain
When you reach 100 - 250 hours of flight time, you will be at the captain rank in Aegean Virtual.
Rank 6: Senior Captain
Our most prestigious rank at Aegean Virtual is the senior captain, which is unlocked when you have 250 - 500 flight hours. At this rank, you will be able to fly our legacy Olympic Airlines routes with their 747-200. This means that you will have access to every route in our database!
Hippocrates Award
The Hippocrates Award is our first award at Aegean Virtual. You will get this once you have 500 flight hours. Once you reach this level, you be able to enter the exclusive "Philosophers Club" text channel in our discord server.
Aristotle Award
You will get the Aristotle Award once you get 750 flight hours. Like every other award and rank, you will receive a new discord role for this award!
Socrates Award
Once you reach 1000 flight hours, you will get the Socrates Award.
Plato Award
At 2500 flight hours, you will get the most prestigious award at Aegean Virtual, the Plato Award.
