Mykonos Mykonian tomb

The tomb is located on a hilltop at the Agelika area. It was discovered in May 1994 and it dates back to the 15th century BC. Its arched roof collapsed (probably in the 13th century BC). An indoor part of the tomb, where the dead were placed, still stands today, along with a 14 meter long path that leads to the tomb. The grave goods [clay vessels, kylikes (drinking cups), amphorae, gold jewelry and necklaces, seal stones of crystal etc] that were discovered in the tomb are on display at the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos.
